I had the immense pleasure of shooting Tim & Marizol's wedding this weekend! What a gorgeous couple and an amazing group of people. I can't tell you how much fun I had there! I can't wait to get all of the photos done and delivered! I'm working furiously right now, but until I am finished, here's a teaser...
Thanks go to Brian Minson for second shooting with me!
I went out and took some photos in it, trying my best to capture some of the feeling of the season. I posted a couple on my flickr stream. Click on the image below and it will take you there to have a look.
Now the chores that come with the snow are setting in. I have to shovel off the walk, and scrape the windows on the car, etc. Its all still fairly new to me, even after two years here on the east coast.
I am looking forward to my trip down to Arizona, can't wait to see my folks again. I don't see them enough anymore. Its going to be a great visit. I'll be sure to post some photos of the trip while I'm down there. Keep an eye here and on my flickr stream for updates.
Its low light performance is spectacular so far, and I have been able to take shots I would never have been able to take before with my Xti. It is an entirely different beast. I cant say enough about it, its a night and day upgrade. I purchased the kit with the 24-105 f4L lens, and I have to say that the combination yields stunning bokeh, and incredibly sharp images. The lcd on the back is a beautiful thing. The shutter is nearly silent compared to my xti, and I think its quieter by far than any other camera I've used or heard used.
I did try video mode, but I just filmed my dog and nobody wants to see that so I'll just delete that and make a better video tomorrow to post with the snapshots.
On a different note, I revised my website and welcome everyone to give it a look and drop me a note to let me know what you think. The link is http://www.morgaliphoto.com
Here is the update: You can click any of these photos to visit my flickr page for the photo and view the rest of them. And for my shameless self-plug, please also visit my website at http://www.morgaliphoto.com.
